Despite having a full American accent, I still pronounce things the English way or get my grammar mixed up. Despite also having a full English accent, I still pronounce things the American way or get my grammar mixed up. Basically, no matter where I am, home or home, I am always different. I will never be 100% American, but I will also never be 100% British.
Somewhere deep inside I think that one day I will feel fully American, maybe when I know that it isn't "temporary" anymore, not that to me it really ever was, but you get the idea.
This is a platform for me to share my struggles of not fitting in in my home and not fitting in in my home and the adventures of being a 'temporary' American.
